We will have an open practice on March 30, 2013. Gates will open at 1. $10 pits and grandstands are free! Our first race will be April 6th, 2013 and we will be racign every weeekend in April.
Attention drivers and car owners: We had a problem last year with our scorers having trouble scoring cars with duplicate numbers. In our general rules: 3. The speedway reserves the right to change the number on your car to avoid duplication or if the number cannot be seen properly. Car numbers are required to be 18” inches high and must be displayed on both sides and on top of the car. We ask tha…t numbers on top of the car face the outside grandstands. Colors of numbers should be considered and painted to standout and be clearly seen from both side and the top of the car. Cars with numbers that cannot be read by the scorers will not be scored during the nights racing events. Two digit numbers should always be used, please avoid the use of letters. Decimal points in numbers are illegal, ie 1.5 or 11.5 and will not be allowed. Duplicate numbers are no allowed in any class, numbers such as 10 and 10x are the same. The Head Scorer will request changes to numbers as needed. Cars must have those changes by the next racing event. We will not be allowing duplicate numbers in any class this year. Regestration will open at the first practice and numbwers will be registered as FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE! If you want to use the same number as someone else, you must place a letter INFRONT of the number that is the SAME SIZE as the numbers. The registration fee will be $35 again this year.
