Super Troopers (Crown Vic)

***If not mentioned in these rules, it must remain STOCK, OEM as delivered from
The factory.***

Body- Front and rear bumpers must remain stock. No sharp edges. Bumpers must have tow chains on the front and rear.
No push bars in front or rear of car.
Hood and trunk may keep stock hinges but must be secured with hood pins.
Driver and passenger doors may be gutted for cage clearance but no other gutting or hulling of body. B pillar on driver side can be removed to allow for cage fitment.
All flammable materials and glass must me be removed.
All holes in front and rear firewalls must be covered with aluminum or steel.
All cars must have numbers on the doors and roof. 18" tall minimum.
Steering column must remain stock with all airbags removed. Quick release steering wheel adapter allowed but must be mounted to stock column.
All cars must have 4 vertical trash bars in front of driver.
Roll cage must stay inside of driver compartment; no part of cage may extend outside of passenger compartment.
Minimum of four driver door bars and 2 passenger side door bars.
Cage must be mounted securely to the frame; NOT THE FLOORPAN.

Suspension:
Must remain stock.
No altering of stock suspension.
OEM stock replacement parts only. Watts link can be reinforced. No cutting, bending or altering the length, angle or mounting of the Watts link allowed. Reinforcing ONLY!

Engine/Transmission:
4.6 Liter SOHC only.
Engine and all parts must be stock or OEM stock replacement.
All cars must have mufflers.
Catalytic converter can be removed.
Transmission must remain completely stock.
A/C condenser must be removed.

Tires/Wheels:
Tires must be DOT legal.
All four tires must be the same size.
Stock steel wheels
All four wheels must be same size and offset.
No wheel spacers.

Weight:
No adding weight of any kind to cars.

Brakes:
All components must remain completely stock.
All four corners must work properly.

Rearend:
Must be OEM stock rearend with all OEM stock parts.
Legal rearend ratios: 2.73, 3.27, or 3.55.
Rear differential may be locked by any means, but ratio rule remains the same (3.55 MAX)

Fuel:
Pump gas or racing fuel: no exotic fuels.

Fuel Cell allowed and highly recommended. Must be separated from driver by a sealed, metal firewall.

Safety:
The cages in these cars will be checked for safety and you will not be allowed to race if your cage is deemed unsafe.
Roll cage must be mounted to the frame of the car, not the floorpan.
Minimum of 1.5" (1.75" recommended), .095 thickness seamless roll bar tubing. No black iron pipe.
Minimum of a four point cage surrounding driver area: main hoop behind driver must have a diagonal bar that goes from behind the drivers head to the passenger side of the hoop.
Halo must be a minimum of 2" above drivers helmet.
Halo cannot be kinked, must have smooth bends.
Front A-pillar  bars must be completely welded to halo and cannot have any kinks; bends must be smooth.
Minimum of 4 driver door bars with braces between each bar, minimum of 2 passenger door bars.
Properly mounted, 5 point racing seat belts are required.
Properly mounted racing seat required.
Every car must have a fire extinguisher mounted within reach of the driver.
Full window net required.
Must have 4 vertical trash bars in front of driver.
